As the crow flies Härke Konstcentrum March 2018 Photographs of Iranian pigeon towers and details of rocks shaped in to face-like elements. An inside of a pigeon tower turned inside out and placed in a ceramic foot made by my father. The pigeon towers are now standing empty as ruins, showing a different way people used to live alongside pigeons in the past. The pigeon guana was used to fertilize the crops. As industrialised fertilizers took over the pigeon towers fell out of use. The project was funded by the Swedish Arts Council and Helge Ax:son Johnson foundation for support of the arts in Sweden. Many thanks to both of them.
